In The Cut: Fuji Instax posted at: 26/09/14 @ 02:09 | « back to main
This week on In the Cut, (my segment on The Eclectic Cafe with Bonnie Grice on NPR Station 88.3 wppb), I brought in something close to my heart. The Fuji Instax Instant Camera. In pop culture known as an new version of the polaroid camera.
I love Fuji Film. I use a lot of their products for my work. The Instax is a camera that is whole lot of fun, that gives you something tactile to take with you.
The discussion on the radio followed the thread of how or why it is important to still have something to touch and feel in your hands. Something that I think is important.
If you are looking for something that is fun to play with and will give you memories to hold on to, this is for you. It is not too hard to find online if you want to order one. It comes in full size and mini. I have both. I prefer the mini.
(Picture below of me in the studio yesterday, and some Instax's from a recent AJB Shoot. Check out the commissioned painting that I did for the mixed media art show curated by the Media Mavens behind in the pic!)
