In The Cut: Tim Burton posted at: 03/11/14 @ 02:11 | « back to main

This week on In the Cut, (my segment on The Eclectic Cafe with Bonnie Grice on NPR Station 88.3 wppb), I spoke about the incredibly talented Tim Burton. He has a New film, Big Eyes, that looks incredible. It is about an artist and the integrity of being the creator of something.
What I focused on however, was his book: The Melancholy death of Oyster Boy and other stories.
This is a really nice piece to have if you are a big fan of Tim Burton's work. It showcases his sketches and the short stories are a little glimpse into where his brain seems to wonder. For anyone that had the chance to see his exhibit at the MOMA, and remembers the rare things that were there; this is similar to those special things we all got to experience.
Below is the trailer for his new film and a couple of pics of the book.
