In The Cut: 911 Porsche Modified by Singer posted at: 26/11/14 @ 05:11 | « back to main
This week on In the Cut, (my segment on The Eclectic Cafe with Bonnie Grice on NPR Station 88.3 wppb), I spoke about the 911 Porsche re-imagined by Singer. The 911 Porsche has been my favorite car since I was about 5 years old. Through my lens, it is the most beautiful car in the world. It has such a definable aesthetic that has stood the test of time, and there is something to be said for longevity.
Singer Vehicle Design has taken the Porsche 911 to an entirely different level. It is nothing short of a work of art. Taking vintage models ,(air cooled era 1963-98), and completely overhauling every aspect of the car with modern, custom, state of the art technology. At the same time, it still looks like a vintage porsche. It is retro modern. If you have about a half of a million dollars, you can own one. If not you can just appreciate an automobile that is as close to perfection as you will probably ever find.
A video below and some really nice pictures of the 911 Porsche re-imagined by Singer.
